Cleaner Water Together:

Protecting Our

Ozark Waters

H2Ozarks leads a bi-state effort to preserve our region’s most precious resource

Since 2001, H2Ozarks works to protect and improve watersheds throughout the Ozarks of Southern Missouri and Northwest Arkansas. We fulfill our mission by promoting community collaboration, public policy, scientific research, and local solutions.

The word APPROACH is written in large, bold, uppercase white letters on a very light background.

Our Approach to Cleaner Waters

Our Ozark watersheds face threats from aging infrastructure, agricultural runoff, and increased development. Here’s how we’re addressing these challenges across Arkansas and Missouri:

How You Can Help

A group of seven adults, wearing hats and casual clothes, gather on a rocky riverbank by a shallow stream, smiling at the camera. They examine a white container with equipment, surrounded by greenery and bridge pillars.
Volunteer

Join a cleanup event, adopt a monitoring site, or participate in an educational event throughout the year.

Our Mission

H2Ozarks protects and improves water in the Ozarks by promoting community commitment, public policy, research, and local solutions.

We believe in safeguarding water, which is our greatest natural resource. Through our efforts, we support the health of our environment and the health of the communities that call the Ozarks home.
